With 2019 upon us, it is a good time to reflect on the 'start-up’ year that has been and times to come …

 

While we created the junkshon cloud migration concept and founded the company in 2017, 2018 was our first real year in business and, by any measure, it has been eventful and we have come a long way.  We are relentlessly focused on how much more there is to do and the challenges ahead, but we have achieved more than we dared to dream of this time last year.

  • 3 full software releases of our workload mobility analytics platform, and many minor releases

  • Founding team and support network fully mobilised at the end of July 

  • Company launch and increasing  social media presence 

  • Achieved Amazon Partner Network status at the end of October  

  • Multiple paid assignments and great client feedback  

  • Proof of Concept work galore working with blue-chip enterprises and service providers 

  • Competitive position - absolute clarity on where we fit - in an exciting and rapidly expanding Cloud migration market where we have unique capability, expertise and a different business model.

 

2019 - we already have a good idea of what the coming year will hold,  but we’re expecting surprises too:

 

  • Jam-packed January and February - we are almost fully loaded with assignments providing a great start to the year.  As they say, book early to avoid disappointment ...

  • Cases and client references - having made the decision to focus on software development and client delivery work in 2018, we are making a conscious effort to better publicise the work that we do and the great feedback, support and references provided by our clients  

  • Partners - more good news to come on our expanding partner network

  • Scaling up: 

    • Additional recruitment and partnering to underpin our growth potential 

    • Further investment to provide solid foundations for accelerated growth

    • Software capability - 2-3 anticipated releases in line with client needs
